Margaret Harvey, DO is a sports medicine fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon.  Prior to joining Plancher Orthopaedics in 2016, she served in the United States Navy achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander. In her final military tour, she served as a staff orthopedic surgeon at Camp Lejeune Naval Hospital where she was exposed to complex sports cases. She treated Marines, Sailors, and as well as MARSOC Special Forces (Marines Corps Forces Special Operations Command).

Her internship and residency was completed at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center during the height of both Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq from 2004 through 2010. Dr. Harvey treated numerous combat casualties which included nearly every type of orthopedic trauma.
